Within the frame of this cooperation, researchers IPGB SAS are involved in addressing issues related to the impact study of abiotic/biotic stress on the activity of defense PR (pathogenesis-related) proteins in cereals and the impact study of the abiotic stress on the activity of these proteins during androgenesis in cereals.

Intensive long-term collaboration (in a frame work of three bilateral projects) is  oriented on  i) increasing of regeneration and micropropagation effectivity of the selected cultivars of small fruits, micropropagation of which wasn't till now extensively developed in Slovakia or Serbia;  ii) production of high quality pathogen-free plants and testing for genetic stability of in vitro propagated plants;  iii) elaboration of regeneration/transformation system for transfer of desired genes and  iv) development of procedures for cryopreservation of plant tissue.
The researcher of IPGB SAS RNDr. Alena Gajdošová, CSc. is a Member of the International Editorial Board of the „Journal of Pomology" published by the Scientific Pomological Society of Serbia.
